As part of The Centre for Food Policy’s Food Thinkers series, the 2018 Global Nutrition Report invites you to attend and participate in the UK launch of this year’s report.

The 2018 Global Nutrition Report reviews existing processes, highlights progress in combating malnutrition, identifies challenges and proposes ways to solve them. Through this, the report guides action, builds accountability and sparks increased commitment to furthering the progress that can reduce malnutrition much faster.

The event will include an address from Minister of State at the Department for International Development Alistair Burt, a panel debate on the impact of unhealthy diets as a cause of ill health around the world and a Q&A session. It will be followed by a networking reception. Speakers include:

  • The Rt Hon Alistair Burt MP, Minister of State at the Department for International Development
  • Professor Corinna Hawkes, Professor of Food Policy and Director of the Centre for Food Policy, City, University of London
  • Jessica Fanzo, PhD, Bloomberg Distinguished Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University
  • Dr Johanna Ralston, CEO, World Obesity Federation
