3 million children are treated by Action Against Hunger for acute malnutrition between 2021-2025
Description
Action Against Hunger is already a leading actor in the delivery of SAM and MAM treatment across countries with a high burden of malnutrition. Over the commitment period we intend to increase our work training community health workers and volunteers in SAM diagnosis, increase our research into scaling up access to treatment through innovative appproaches, and to build the capacity of local authorities and health service providers to manage treatment services.
We aim to reach on average 600,000 children a year with treatment over the 5 year commitment period and will track this through our current International Strategic Plan.
