• Formation of a Multisectoral Asian Development Bank (ADB) Working Group on Nutrition Security. The working group will consist of representatives from Rural Development and Food Security, Health, Education, Gender Equity, Social Development and Urban sectors, as well as regional and private-sector operations departments.

Formation of a Multisectoral ADB Working Group on Nutrition Security
This group will consist of representatives from multisectoral groups, including rural development and food security, health, education, gender equity, social development and urban sectors, as well as regional and private-sector operations departments.
The working group will prepare ADB’s Strategic Direction to Enhance Nutrition in ADB Operations by:
• Reviewing nutritional aspects of ADB's portfolio and outlining a strategic direction to strengthen ADB’s nutrition security engagement.
• Identifying areas for an overall strategic framework for nutrition for the next 3–5 years, based on review of relevant best practices.
• Integrating nutrition security engagement with green and resilient food system investment.
• Piloting and scaling up new business approaches to nutrition engagements under ADB's portfolio (eg, nutrition-smart agriculture, nutrition fortification, climate- and nutrition-smart urban agriculture, gender-focused and low-cost production of local vegetables, fruits and animal protein, and enhancing nutritional linkages in social safety-net support).
