Description

The goals are to provide technical assistance and build national capacity to design and implement nutrition interventions through working with global, regional and country partners to:

1. Develop and implement nutrition and micronutrient interventions and programme monitoring, evaluation and surveillance systems.

2. Provide technical assistance to conduct high-quality micronutrient and nutrition assessments.

3. Develop replicable monitoring, evaluation and surveillance models.

4. Conduct workshops and webinars for scaling up or scaling down micronutrient and infant and young child nutrition interventions.

5. Develop toolkits, manuals and other resources.

6. Document key global micronutrient and infant and young child nutrition strategies.

Description

Increase the coverage of and adherence to high-quality nutrition programmes in selected priority countries, with a focus on micronutrients in children under 5 years of age, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women and women of reproductive age
