Increase Domestic Nutrition Financing
Description
By 2028, the Scaling Up Nutrition Civil Society Alliance (SUN CSA) Nigeria commits to leading an advocacy campaign to urge the Nigerian government to increase national financing for the Multisectoral Plan of Action for Food and Nutrition (MSPFAN) by at least 30% from the 2023 baseline, aligning with the Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp) in health.
The commitment involves specific annual funding allocations and disbursement milestones, with resources distributed across key ministries and programmes within the dedicated nutrition budget. Annual progress will be monitored, and a midterm review in 2026 will assess the impact.
