Description

From 2025 to 2029, the El Salvador government commits to reduce malnutrition and the incidence of chronic non-communicable diseases, with priority given to groups at higher risk, by age, physiological conditions, geographic area of residence, socioeconomic level and gender and cultural identity.

In relation to malnutrition, the government seeks to reduce chronic malnutrition in children under 5 years of age from 10% to 9%.
