Description

This commitment will be fulfilled through training on nutrition and prevention of anaemia during pregnancy. Activities will include:

• Raising awareness to increase the number of pregnant women in prenatal consultations.

• Adopting mobile team and door-to-door prenatal consultations.

• Providing anaemia screening equipment to all health centres.

• Demonstrating the importance of having an adequate blood glucose level.

• Demonstrating the consequences of anaemia during pregnancy.
