Decrease prevalence of anemia in children under 5 years
Description
This commitment will be fulfilled through training on infant feeding and anaemia prevention. Activities will include:
• Raising awareness to increase the number of children in consultations.
• Adopting mobile and door-to-door group consultations.
• Providing anaemia screening equipment to all health centres.
• Demonstrating the importance of having an adequate blood glucose level in childhood.
• Demonstrating the consequences of anaemia in childhood.
