Increase prevalence (%) of nutritionally-at-risk pregnant women receiving micronutrient supplementation
Description
This commitment will be fulfilled through the following interventions:
• Interoperable information systems for nutrition and primary care.
• Expansion of the PhilHealth Maternity Care Package and Konsulta Package.
• Transition of nutrition commodities procurement to local government units.
• Quality assurance and standardisation of health human resources, services and facilities for delivery of the First 1000 Days (F1KD) Strategy.
• Development of infant and young child feeding implementation plan to strengthen public health activities for maternal and child services with focus on health human resources and community/support groups.
• Strengthening of Executive Order 51 (development of national action plan for the Philippine Milk Code) and activities to address structural barriers to breastfeeding/access to maternity protection of workers in the informal economy.
