Increased government financial investments in nutrition for sustainability
Description
By 2030, the Eswatini government will ensure increased budgetary allocation by 20% on essential nutrition actions. This will be monitored through key performance indicators such as annual budget allocation for nutrition actions, percentage of budget spent on nutrition programmes, number of nutrition programmes funded and improvement in nutrition-related health outcomes (e.g., reduction in stunting, wasting and malnutrition rates).
