National food fortification alliances will be strengthened; national standards revised or developed; the Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network will be reactivated; the private sector will be engaged; and a sustainable premix supply system established.

Between 2022 and 2025, Sudan commits to enacting a mandatory food fortification law which will contribute to the prevention of micronutrient deficiencies through fortification of staple foods, including universal salt iodisation.
