Description

By 2030, Sudan is committed to reducing the prevalence of stunting from 36.4% to 22.1% and wasting from 13.6% to 6% among children up to 5 years of age; low birth weight from 32.3% to 19%; and anaemia among reproductive-aged women from 29.7% to 16%.

In addition, Sudan will work towards increasing the percentage of households with access to improved sanitation facilities from 37% to 60% and increasing the percentage of children receiving a minimum acceptable diet from 25.4% to 50% by 2030.
