Description

The Food and Nutrition Council of Zimbabwe commits to coordinate a multistakeholder technical team (Zimbabwe Livelihoods Assessment Committee), to provide upto date food and nutrition data and information for policy programming and target tracking for the period to 2030. The national level data will cover but not limited to the following thematic areas; livelihoods, socioeconomic profiles, access to services and infrastructure, climate, resilience, food consumption and dietary patterns, nutrition, social protection, with gender and subnational aggregation. The commitment will involve capacity building of the multisectoral platforms, strengthening of methodology to include any emerging issues. Dashboards with summary data will be developed and progress will be monitored annually and sharing of reports will be done to contribute to the global body of evidence.
