Description

The commitment seeks to guide the Honduran population through access to clear and evidence-based information on healthy eating, through the implementation of the National Strategy for Food and Nutrition Education (ENEAN). Nutrition protection and education will be promoted to strengthen the capacity to make informed decisions and encourage the participation of civil society. Actions include the training of community facilitators, the development of community networks to promote the inclusion of Food and Nutrition Education in the school and university curriculum, educational campaigns, rescue of native foods and respect for local culture.
