Implementation of the National Plan for Nutrition and Breastfeeding 2025-2030
Description
This commitment aims to update and promote the implementation of the Action Plan for Nutrition (PANH), the National Plan for Breastfeeding and Complementary Feeding 2025-2030 and the National Strategic Plan for Health and Nutrition (PENSS 2025-2030). These strategies seek to eradicate all forms of malnutrition in the country through a multisectoral approach, with emphasis on the promotion of exclusive breastfeeding, the improvement of complementary feeding, the strengthening of nutritional governance and the training of health personnel. Actions include annual training of 20% of health personnel, certification of hospitals with the IHAN, creation of human milk banks, implementation of nutritional surveillance and policies for the prevention of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases.
