The Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services, together with UNICEF Namibia and World Health Organization (WHO) Namibia, commits to finalise the development and implementation of the District Health Information System 2 (DHIS2).

Description

The Namibia Ministry of Health and Social Services commits to have a fully functioning DHIS2 with a clearly defined and comprehensive nutrition services component (nutrition score card) for easy monitoring and utilisation of routine nutrition data collected through the health system at community, district, regional and national levels by the end of 2022. Progress will be assessed using the District Health Information System and during monthly monitoring and evaluation meetings. The government has secured N$500 000.00 to cover the associated costs.
