Title

Nurturing local governance of health promotion and nutrition in the Covid-19 era

Description

The aim of this commitment is to accelerate local nutrition governance by engaging Cameroon's mayors to commit 1% of their local council's budget to supporting nutrition-specific interventions, thus fostering local governance in the area of health promotion in the municipalities. There are 23 beneficiary communes from Adamaoua, East and West Regions for this local governance project: 4 from East Region, 5 from Adamaoua Region and 14 from West Region. All the communes in Adamaoua and East Regions have allocated between 2% and 10% of their annual budget to health and nutrition promotion.
