Description

Within the framework of Information Management for monitoring the Territorial Management Strategy "Childhood First", Supreme Decree 003-2019-MIDIS provides for the constitution of the intersectoral information platform through which, adopting the highest standards of management of open data and in accordance with data protection regulations, Sectors and Institutions linked to the "Childhood First" strategy.

For this, it provides for the creation of the Committee responsible for making decisions regarding the management of the intersectoral information platform, made up of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, Ministry of Education and the National Registry Identification and Civil Status - RENIEC. This multisectoral effort pays for the achievement of the Nominal Register - updated and complete - of boys and girls under 6 years of age as the basic tool for nominal monitoring that will allow the timely care of children and pregnant women.

Considering the stages of development through which the child passes; In the component health and nutrition status of the mother, girl and boy, it considers the aspects associated with nutritional status (presence of chronic malnutrition or micronutrient deficiency) and healthy birth (adequate weight and full-term birth). It includes factors such as the health, nutritional and emotional state of the pregnant woman, the presence of deficiencies and disorders, maternal pressure, infectious diseases, as well as care and feeding practices in children.

In our country, digital government is being implemented (Legislative Decree No. 1412), as a strategy for the use of digital technologies and data in the Public Administration for the creation of public value. This is in addition to updating, homologation and sustainability of the nominal register of girls and boys under 6 years of age, in order to improve the possibility of implementing processes and data exchange between organizations related to people's identity, service delivery (health, education, etc.), insurance, social assistance, among others, resorting to the sharing of information and knowledge, thus developing the ability to interoperate between their respective information systems.

As part of the plan will include:

1. Review and improve the interoperability criteria. Ensure that these criteria include the provision of equipment, supplies, human resources, training.

2. Develop standards for the storage, exchange and processing of information based on interoperability

3. Training for public officials to ensure adequate interoperability for nominal monitoring.

Nominal Monitoring of pregnant & child

Description

The Peruvian government is committed to the nominal monitoring of the interventions provided by the State to all pregnant women and children under 6 years of age, with timely and reliable information that contributes to ensuring adequate child development and nutrition. To this end, it guarantees the allocation of the budget for the implementation and strengthening of the nominal registry and the interoperability of data on priority services, reaching 5% of the budget allocated to budgetary programmes related to health, nutrition and child development by the year 2025.
