Mainstream nutrition in strategic development policies and plans such as CREDD (Strategic Framework for Economic Recovery and Sustainable Development) and PDESC (Economic, Social and Cultural Development Plan) by 2025.
Description
Mali's policy framework recognises the importance of strengthening multisectoral food systems. Since 2013, Mali has had an Agricultural Development Policy and a National Nutrition Policy supported by multiyear action plans whose objective is to ensure a satisfactory nutritional status for all Malians. This was bolstered by the adoption (in 2019) of a National Food Security and Nutrition Policy for 2020–2024.
