Overarching commitment (for commitments submitted pre-2025)
Title
Improving quality of management of SAM
Description
80% of acutely malnourished children are treated in accordance with the national protocol for the treatment of acute malnutrition. In September 2021, the national protocol for the management of acute malnutrition was reviewed. Bottlenecks were identified and solutions were put forward for quality treatment services. Based on the new WHO recommendations and the review conducted in August 2021, the Union of the Comoros now has an updated national protocol for the management of acute malnutrition.
