Description

This commitment will be fulfilled through the following interventions:

• Designing and implementing a behaviour change strategy that is based on mass awareness and advocacy and uses various culturally relevant methodologies to cover counselling, empowerment, education at all levels in health practices, food, water, hygiene, sanitation and availability of and access to food.

• Reorganising and strengthening the primary level of care with emphasis on the Thousand Days Window, promotion of health and nutrition, and strengthening of community organisation.

• Expanding the coverage and improving the quality of water and sanitation to guarantee potable water, including a firm floor and a healthy environment, as well as waste management through socially sustainable systems.
