Government / Denmark

January 2020 — December 2022

Description

This intervention involves developing guidelines for meals that are in line with the new Danish dietary guidelines – ones that are good for health and the climate. The preparation phase includes developing a project description, identifying existing work nationally and internationally and creating a plan for stakeholder involvement, among other activities. The development phase includes creating scenarios, eliciting stakeholder involvement, developing recommendations and conducting legal assessments, among other things. The new guidelines will be published – targeting food professionals, decision-makers and other stakeholders – and communicated to relevant stakeholders (eg, on digital platforms, at seminars, etc.).

A campaign strategy and campaign materials will be developed, including stakeholder involvement, and the campaign will be launched in cooperation with relevant stakeholders – including nongovernmental organisations and the food and retail industry, among others – and evaluated.
