This commitment is included in the 2018–2025 Multi-sector Action Plan for Nutrition by the health sector, with the active engagement of other sectors.

Description

Nutrition improvement throughout the life-course is a priority area within Sri Lanka’s National Nutrition Policy (2020–2030). Under this policy, Sri Lanka is working towards reducing the prevalence of low birth weight to 10% by 2025.
