Implement a costed plan for the national Nutrition Information System

Description

The Yemeni government is committed to strengthening the national nutrition information system. This will include conducting surveys, monitoring and routine surveillance as well as exploring opportunities to enhance the digitisation of data, ratings and human resources capabilities. This will be achieved through implementing the Nutrition Information System Action Plan, harmonising nutrition data and information systems across sectors, and reflecting key criteria and indicators in alignment with the National Nutrition Strategy. In addition, the government will develop a national multisectoral framework for nutrition monitoring, evaluation and accountability by strengthening multisectoral nutrition information, building multiple sectoral indicators/data and developing an accountability framework for nutrition monitoring and evaluation. Progress will be assessed every two years.
