By 2030, the government of Yemen, represented by the Ministry of Public Health and Population, is committed to an increased prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months among targeted communities, increasing it from 20% to 50%, through strengthening awareness campaigns on the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, integrating breastfeeding counselling into antenatal and postnatal care services, training healthcare workers to provide tailored support for mothers and implementing community-based support programs for breastfeeding mothers.
