In Gambia, the National Nutrition Agency – in collaboration with the Food Safety and Quality Authority; The Gambia Standards Bureau; the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Security; and other partners – commits to scale up micronutrient deficiency control in the country through enforcing the Food Fortification Regulations, 2020; expanding biofortification interventions; capacity-building and compliance monitoring; micronutrient supplementation; and social and behavioural change communication.
