Maintain overweight prevalence at 15% by 2030

Description

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population is committed to its goal of keeping the prevalence of overweight children under 5 years of age at a minimum – specifically, maintained at 15%. This will be achieved by accelerating scale-up of implementation of high-impact nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions. Progress will be assessed through the Egyptian Family Health Issues Survey, to be implemented every four years.
