Title

Reduce anaemia among children under 5 years of age to 15% by 2030

Description

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population commits to reducing the prevalence of stunting from 21% to less than 10% among the country’s 12.7 million children under 5 years of age by 31 December 2030. This will be achieved by accelerating scale-up of the implementation of high-impact nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions. Progress will be assessed through the Egyptian Family Health Issues Survey, to be implemented every four years.
