Increase financing in nutrition.

Description

The government of Nepal (GON) commits to increasing the allocation and expenditure of financial resources for nutrition, supporting children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating mothers, adults and elderly people across the country. The GON has committed to providing a separate budget code. Disbursements for nutrition interventions will increase from ₨9,499 million to approximately 10,781 million per annum (a total of 97,032 million over the next nine years from 2022 to 2030).
