Description

The government of Guinea commits to:

• Reduce stunting in children under 5 years of age from 30% in 2021 to 18% in 2030.

• Reduce wasting from 10% in 2021 to 5% in 2030.

• Reduce anaemia in women of reproductive age from 45% in 2021 to 27% in 2030.

• Reduce the overweight and obesity rate from 4% in 2021 to 2% by 2025.

• Expand and strengthen the national, regional and district coordination mechanisms for improved nutrition.

• Increase the budget for nutrition-specific intervention from US$1.35 million to US$10 million in 2030.
