Overarching commitment (for commitments submitted pre-2025)
Title
Strengthen the Multisectoral Nutrition Information System (MNIS)
Description
Tracking progress of all interventions to tackle malnutrition requires reliable data and a well-functioning information management system. The government commits to ensure that priority sectoral ministries’ data systems are linked with the MNIS in 11 (100%) sectors by 2026 rather than the current goal of 7 sectors, with at least 2 sectors linked by 2023. The estimated budget for this commitment is TZS 2.7 billion (US$1.2 million).
