Endorsed a new multisectoral joint prakas by four ministries to strengthen the enforcement of Sub Decree 133 for Marketing of Products for Infants and Young Children
Description
Review the existing joint prakas (proclamation), conduct partner consultations and update the joint prakas from a multisectoral perspective and in line with recent World Health Organization guidelines and World Health Assembly (WHA) resolutions. Conduct dissemination of the updated prakas and support capacity for monitoring and enforcement.

Description
By 2023, legislation on the promotion and marketing of breast milk substitutes and commercially produced complementary foods will be revised and updated to align with the International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes and subsequent relevant WHA resolutions and regional standards.
