Strengthen nutrition counselling and promotion of optimal feeding and care practices to prevent sever wasting.

Build health workers capacity on early identification, referral, and treatment of children with sever wasting.

Ensure availability of anthropometric equipment and SAM treatment commodities

Integrate Growth Monitoring, screening, referral and treatment of SAM case with MCH contact at health facility and outreach sites.

Expand use of locally produced RUTF and RUSF for treatment of acute malnutrition
