Mobilise academia for enhanced nutrition training, research and innovation
Description
From 2025 to 2030, the Uganda Scale Up Nutrition (SUN) Academia Network commits to mobilising academia onto a joint platform to undertake research and innovation aimed at improving infant and young child feeding practices, increasing the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding and reducing the prevalence of child stunting, wasting and maternal and child anaemia in Uganda. This will be achieved by increasing the number of academic and research institutions participating in active nutrition research in Uganda to over 20. A midterm review will be conducted in 2026/27 to assess progress and adjust strategies as needed.
