Description

By 2028, SUN CSA Philippines commits to providing technical assistance to at least 5–7 Local Government Units (LGUs) within PPAN priority areas to develop and implement evidence-based Local Nutrition Action Plans (LNAPs) aligned with the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023–2028 .

This commitment aims to strengthen local nutrition governance and contribute to reducing the prevalence of stunting among children under five in the target areas. Through this effort, SUN CSA Philippines will support LGUs to deliver at least five well-implemented, locally funded nutrition programs per year by enhancing local capacity in nutrition planning, budgeting, and resource mobilization.
