Scaled-Up Coverage of Multiple Micronutrient Supplements and Vitamin A Supplements
Description
The Sierra Leone government will scale up coverage of targeted micronutrient supplements for pregnant women and children under 5 years of age by increasing integration of these services within the Expanded/Essential Programme on Immunization (EPI) and broader maternal-child health services and community initiatives. By 2030, the government will ensure at least 75% of pregnant women receive multiple micronutrient supplements (MMS) and 90% of children aged between 6 and 59 months receive vitamin A supplements.
