The government of Ecuador is committed to improving child opportunities by fighting against chronic malnutrition, reducing its prevalence from 27.2% to 21.2% in the next four years. This objective will be achieved with intersectoral coordination by offering the principal social services defined for this specific group, the ‘Ecuador Grows Without Child Malnutrition’ National Strategy.
