Ecuador's government is committed to improve the operability of social and health services aimed to care children up to 24 months old and pregnant and breastfeeding women, through the creation of a unique and universal system of nominal tracking, which allows the interoperability of data and the coordination of actions with the institutions that implement services focused on prevention and reduction of Chronic Child Malnutrition. For this purpose, 80% of the target population will be captured by

The Government of Ecuador is committed to improve child opportunities, fighting against chronic malnutrition ( CMN) , reducing its prevalence from 27.2% to 21.2% in the next 4 years. This objective will be achieved with intersectoral cordination by offering the principal social services defined for this specific group by "Ecuador Grows without Malnutrition National Strategy".
