Overarching commitment (for commitments submitted pre-2025)

Title

Reduce the rate of stunting

Description

We aim to reduce the rate of stunting from 52.2% to 42.2% by 2027.

The stunting rate is used in Burundi as an indicator of the impact of interventions implemented in different sectors, including health; agriculture; social protection; water, hygiene and sanitation; and education, not to mention gender, governance and financing. As such, it is a good indicator to measure performance in a multisectoral approach.
