Description
a) Double the agricultural and animal production;
b) Reduce the rate of stunting in children under five years of age by 10%;
c) To ensure the coverage of 50% of vulnerable populations benefiting from social protection mechanisms;
d) Ensure the promotion of good nutritional practices in at least 80% of households;
e) Ensure food and nutritional security for 100% of victims in emergency situations and natural disasters.

Description
Reduce the rate of stunting from 52.2% to 42.2% by 2027. Stunting rate is an indicator of the impact of several interventions implemented in different sectors: Health, agriculture, social protection, water, hygiene and sanitation, education without forgetting gender, governance and financing. It still a good indicator that is used in Burundi to mesure the performance in a mutisectoral approach.
