Assess the Workforce Nutrition Alliance 4 pillars score card in 70 manufacturing sites, with on-site catering, and define action plans by 2026
Description
Nutrition is a pillar of Unilever’s Health Improvement Programme (HIP), and the Workforce Nutrition Alliance (WNA) scorecard is our guide to build action plans to improve nutritional education, access to nutritious and safe food at the workplace, employee counselling and breastfeeding (policies and workplace modifications). So, based on the WNA scorecard, each factory will have a local plan to improve the food at the workplace.
Overarching commitment (for commitments submitted pre-2025)
Title
Improve workforce nutrition
Description
Unilever's HIP is a programme to improve the health and well-being of Unilever employees, focusing on nutrition behaviour changes, physical activity, mental health and other aspects of a healthy lifestyle. It is a voluntary programme offered to all Unilever employees worldwide and based on a health-risk assessment, clinical evaluation and lab tests that will define an individual's health-risk score. Depending on this health-risk score, the employee is invited to participate in the programme. WNA is a partner of this programme through the scorecard tool that is being applied at our on-site canteens to improve the nutrition at the workplace.
