Description
1. Set up one regional observatory group in charge of the analysis of government commitment and data, elaboration of call for action (two per year) and regional advocacy activities.
2. Create the online platform at a regional level with the support of countries.
3. Collect quarterly data from countries about their policies, activities and implementation of nutrition commitment.
5. Put new information quarterly on the online platform.

Description
1. Create an online advocacy platform by 2023 that displays regional governments’ nutrition commitments and progress made to promote mutual accountability based on evidence.
2. Advocate to regional bodies (African Union, Economic Community of West African States, Economic Community of Central African States, African Development Bank and others) to support countries for the development and implementation of nutrition multisectoral policies and programmes by providing adequate funding by 2025.
3. By 2025, strengthen the capacities of 1,000 civil society organisations to raise citizen voices at the local level to support and promote nutrition.
