Commitment description
Morinaga Milk aims to create an enriched society full of smiles by supporting both the mental and physical health of our customers, contributing to their happiness. As a result of many years of research and development, we possess a wealth of nutritional knowledge as well as many unique functional ingredients.
We have been providing products that are familiar to the daily lives of customers of all ages, from infant formula to liquid food for the elderly, by utilizing our unique functional ingredients and nutritional knowledge, including bifidobacteria such as BB536, which has been used in more than 30 countries around the world, and MCC1274, which has been found to improve cognitive functions, as well as lactoferrin, milk peptides, and lactulose.
In January 2021, we launched the Dietitian Seminar for Supporting Wellness service to provide research results and important information to support people to lead healthy and happy lives in order to further contribute to extending healthy longevity by utilizing the knowledge we have accumulated so far.
As a specific action, we will continue to strengthen research on our proprietary ingredients to develop products that contribute to the maintenance of good health through (1) incorporating nutritious and functional ingredients and (2) expanding Dietitian Seminar for Supporting Wellness service to spread information on nutritious and functional ingredients and other materials that contribute to the maintenance of good health.
The number of participants in the Dietitian Seminar for Supporting Wellness held will be used as a measurement index, and the target for the total number of participants by FY2030 is 100,000.
At the same time, we will strengthen our internal structure by augmenting our R&D system to further promote research on proprietary ingredients and product development.
