Commitment description
UNICEFÂs organizational commitment is to lead global efforts to support national and sub-national governments with the design, implementation and monitoring of policies, strategies and programmes for the prevention, early detection and treatment of child wasting, in all contexts. Through No Time to Waste, UNICEFÂs organizational initiative in support to the Global Action Plan on Child Wasting, UNICEF will support over 30 countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas to reach at least 100 million children with services for the prevention, early detection and treatment of child wasting, including at least 9 million children receiving timely therapeutic treatment annually by 2025.
