Commitment description

Strengthen multisectoral tracking of financial allocation for nutrition:

The Ministry of Finance (MoF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), Ministry of Planning (MoP), Ministry of Food (MoFood), Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MOPME), Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MOWCA), Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives (MOLGRD&C) and development partners, commits to developing and engaging a multisectoral budget tracking system for nutrition. Progress will be monitored by the Ministry of Finance with support from the Bangladesh National Nutrition Council. The overall estimated cost for the development and operation of the financial tracking system will be BDT 4.7 crore.
