Goal action plan
GAIN s technical assistance to country governments will include support in tailoring food fortification standards to address the prevalence of micronutrient deficiencies in the target population, providing relevant information to key decisionmakers, supporting creation of strong national food fortification mandates, and assisting government officials to design and carry out market and factory surveilance to ensure quality. GAINs technical assistance to civil society will include alliance building among key stakeholders, supporting creation of a multi-stakeholder advocacy strategy, helping to produce advocacy collateral for communication with duty bearers, and supplying data to inform advocacy efforts.
