Goal action plan
These commitments have been fully endorsed by each of the Youth Leaders for Nutrition who will all accept personal responsibility for the delivery of these commitments.
The Youth Leaders for Nutrition program is owned by the SUN CSN and delivered by the SUNCSN secretariat, with an Advocacy & Youth Adviser staff role dedicated to supporting the Youth Leaders to deliver the SUN CSN Strategy 3.0.
This program is also supported by three partner organisations; Save the Children UK, Results UK, and Global Citizen, each of which offer technical assistance to the Youth Leaders as well as creating advocacy opportunities for them to engage with high-level decision-makers.
Most of the Youth Leaders are also closely affiliated with SUN Civil Society Alliances (CSAs) in their countries and are able to utilise their collective resources and insights to successfully deliver on these commitments. These CSAs are also supported by the SUN CSN Secretariat which can act as a convener between all stakeholders.
The Advocacy and Youth Adviser will develop a detailed action plan with each of the Youth Leaders to deliver on this commitment, with monthly check-in calls to review progress and find solutions to any challenges acting as obstacles.
In collaboration with the SUN CSN Secretariat's Impact and Evidence Adviser, we have developed a robust MEAL framework including an annual survey for the Youth Leaders to complete and report on their success in delivering on the commitments.
