Goal action plan

Promote Baby friendly hospital initiatives (BFHI) at health facilities and community (BFCI) levels. Adopt and adapt the WHO breastfeeding counselling guidance. Implement the Ten steps to successful breastfeeding as standard of care in maternities and child care facilities. Enhance enforcement of the Breastmilk substitutes (Regulation and control) Act, 2012 and sections 71 & 72 of the Health Act, 2017. Facilitate kangaroo mother care for low-birth weight infants
