Goal action plan
Over the next two years, we will provide 120 seminars and training sessions to food support volunteers in 60% of the cities, towns, and villages in the three prefectures of Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima.1) We will visit the health and welfare departments of 60% of the municipalities in the three prefectures in order to gather information on the challenges of supporting community-based food support volunteers.2) As part of the above, we will publicize the learning from the eight and a half years of recovery support projects in Tohoku and the results of the third-party evaluation. We will raise awareness of the fact that by continuing to offer fun and tasty cooking classes, people can improve their dietary habits, connect with other people, and revitalize their local communities. We will also propose that we can provide information on how to prepare for the next disaster, as well as lectures on safety and hygiene management and the running of cooking classes, which it has acquired through its eight and a half years of operations.3) We will make a proposal to conduct seminars and training based on the content of elements that contribute to solving the problems identified in and make it a reality.
