Goal action plan
Stunting in the Republic of Benin is 32% according to the report of the demographic health survey in 2017.It emerged that about 18% of these children are born with a low birth weight which, in addition to the difficulties of practicing exclusive breastfeeding and food diversification, contributes significantly to the persistence of growth retardation.
So to sustainably reduce stunting, we should focus on the first 270 days of life in order to give all children the chance to be born with a normal nutritional status.
